The beauty about open date clinics is that you can decide the dates, amount of days and what you want to learn!
Clinic Plan:
- Each Clinic goes through personal & equipment preparation, safety, rules of riding, tips and tricks about relaunching, body dragging, water starting, riding, transitions and what goals each rider has.
- A 10am start with on land theory, warm up, then getting straight into the water for some on water coaching until its time for lunch.
- During the lunch break 13:00 to 15:00 it’s time to refuel, relax and get the mind & body ready for the afternoon session.
- Afternoon session can take place in different spots depending on the tide, wind and the amount of people on the water, so to have the best conditions depending on what the goal is for that afternoon, class from 15:00 to 18:00 with debriefing.
- For those taking several day clinics, then a down winder can also be organized.
- Each day is based on 6hrs of coaching but every class takes into count the physical strength and weather conditions so not to push too hard but to get the maximum progression out of each session.
CKS Clinics can be taken up to 10 days straight or broken days depending on weather conditions or other activities that the island also has to offer, as long as this is confirmed in advance.
